Thanks Bahner. Are you sure it's silverplate? Each piece is marked with a weight in grams, and one of the large spoons, for example - is marked 84 grams, and the actual weight of the spoon on my postal scale is 90 grams, so mathematically, the percentage would be close to that of sterling.

old french?? silverware - need help identifying

I have some old silverware I would like to identify. There is a maker's mark and the weight in grams in the bowl of the spoons near the handle.
