I found this lovely childs rattle and mother of pearl handle, It is a family piece and in fine condiiton but I am struggling to identify the maker, Can anyone shed any light on this maker and and background on these items. Ive had a piece of Tiffany with this era datestamp and was also a little worried about the retangular nature of the cartouche, this I was told a few years ago to be fine, as not always oval cartouch used in latter part of 19th C

date lettergothic b...1894 sheffield assay, maker probably early Mappin and Web, they started in 1892, still seems to have rounded rectangle corners as does early Mappin Bros, just missing the & sign !

I have a nice silver lidded glass heart shaped dressing table jar with Birmingham 1900 01 date, The maker looks like TH, Does anybody know this makerplease???
