Does anyone know what company used this hallmark and what period of time this was used? 1930's, 1940's or some other time period?

Also, I forgot to ask...do you know if Algerian silver is the same as sterling (.925) or is it something else. Thank you very much for your help.

That's very interesting! Thank you very much! I did take a look at the Algerian flag and it does look like the hallmark on the bracelet. Do you know if silver items produced in Algeria are required to have the hallmark of the country rather than a maker's mark?

I purchased a silver bracelet at a thrift store and am trying to find out anything about it. It looks Arabian or possibly Turkish. I think it is old...maybe antique. It is hallmarked twice with the same symbol...a star inside a crescent moon and that's it...no other hallmarks present. I would apprec...
