I have a punch ladle I'm investigating with the incised mark "L Heck" in a rectangular box. Coin silver, American, probably dating to the early 19th Cent.
Anyone have any information on Heck? Dates? Where did he work? (admin edit) etc?

Mark is on an sterling cream and sugar set. It is a small image of an owl with a shield on its chest and a "W" in the shield. There is a pattern No....7526. I am pretty sure it is American, probably late 1800s (no country of orgin). Any ideas as to who? (Pun, perhaps intended....??) Thanks...
