Re: Maker's and Date marks help

Sorry for causing confusion everyone. I admit to have gotten lazy with the pics, as my computer is very slow, and it can take me forever with sometimes. Here is what I should have posted the first time. Thanks.

Maker's and Date marks help

Hello. I'm trying to match up this maker's mark with the date mark. I believe it is William Sumner I mark, but from what I've found in my research, the date mark does not match up. Perhaps It's not WS, but SM? Any help is always appreciated. Thanks. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www...

Help with crest please

Hello. I would appreciate some help with this crest. It is on a silver piece from London, made 1810. I've done some research online, and the closest I've found are that of the family Moriarty, and of clan Munro. I appreciate any assistance. Thanks. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www....

Very Rubbed Marks

Hello Everyone. I don't have much hope for this one, but I thought I would give it a try. I'm pretty sure the mark to the far right is the lion, based on the research I've done on Mote Spoons. This one, I think, is a "Fancy Back." Any info., as always, is much appreciated. Thanks. https://...

Took some new pics after giving the Ladle a heavy cleaning.
Also found a monogram on the outside of the bowl.
Thanks.

Another Toddy Ladle

Hello Everyone. Back with another one I picked up today. It's not in the best condition, but I do believe I see the Newcastle Mark, the letter S, Maker's Mark seems C dot P dot. There's another mark on the topside Which is script F&Z. in oval. I'm wondering about the maker and date. Measures 17 ...

Re: Toddy Ladle

Hello. Thank you for your response. If it was a London maker, who might you attribute the Maker's Mark to. I purchased it with a large collection of old British pieces, so I feel it could be an authentic London Hallmark. On the other hand, you are far more knowledgeable than I am, and your website i...

Ladle with same mark twice

Hello. This Ladle has the same mark twice, what seems to me to be SW in an oval. I did my due diligence as far as research goes, but there were a few possibilities. Could anyone tell me who this mark belonged to. Thank You. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg

Toddy Ladle

Hello Again. I'm wondering who is the maker of this Toddy Ladle. Looks to me like DG in a lozenge shape, with a star above and something below the letters. It is 15 1/2 inches long, and 79 grams. I appreciate any assistance. Thanks. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pic...

Hello Everyone. Recently picked up this piece. I was told it is Thomas Stevens Eayres, Boston, circa 1770. It is stamped twice. Measures approx. 5 1/4 inches long, and weighs 15 grams.
