Re: Russian Silver maker's mark ФЯ

Cool, thank you all for the info. Still I will check all the pieces if some have stamps that are in better condition and better visible.

Re: Hallmark on a spoon

Thank you guys, that makes sense. I took the number for an 8, but it may very well be a 3. The hallmark is so tiny, I couldn't get a better pic of it.

Hallmark on a spoon

Hi, I'm looking for help with this silver spoon. It's not plated an has two tiny hallmarks. The one seems to be a kokoshnik looking at something like an 8 or 3. The other stamp I don't even know if it's upside down. Any idea is welcome.

Russian Silver maker's hallmark HCX

But by whom? This is the only mark on the back of the tablet, no city stamp or year. https://www.925-10...

Re: Russian Silver maker's mark ФЯ

Thank you Qrt.S, you got me a little further already. First of all I realized that not all pieces have been made by the same master. I don't have the whole set here right now, just the tablet. It shows a different mark that reads HCX (not sure about the H) and indeed there are two letters at the nec...
