Re: Russian silver
Hi. This may have been a temporary mark of Poland after the occupation of the Kingdom of Poland in 1915 by Germany. Then the operation of the Assay Office in Warsaw was stopped. At this link you can read the message from blakstone (with all due respect). https://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php...

Re: Antique silver bracelet
I already saw a spoon in privat collection with the same marks. In 1869 Johann Franciscy known as "landmeister" in the guild of Neusohl and worked in Stubnyafürdő (Now Slovakei, Turčianske Teplice). This is from 15 km north from Kremnitz. From 1863 Joseph Franciscy from Túrócz-Haj was a s...

Re: Augsburg dish.
Hi Gábor, Is it possible to clean all the marks and after show us some clear enhanced images of the marks? The high quality of the dish is obvious but without clear images of all marks it is impossible to judge, pseudo or not. The best thing would be to ask professional advise of an renowned expert...

Re: Augsburg dish.
OK Gábor, and I guess the antique shop did not mentioned the name of Neresheimer. To my knowledge Augsburg applied the town mark only once and not twice on a single object. Why two Austrian Repunze tax exemption marks on a single object without removable/hinged parts? Peter. Dear Péter. I'm afraid ...

I bought it at an antique store.
I really liked it.

Re: Augsburg dish.
It looks to me that that is not a similar dish but the exact same one. I see it was auctioned on Drouot a year ago. If they are indeed different dishes than yes, they are probably Hanau but even hand crafted Hanau pieces will not be exactly the same. Also none of the Hanau marks I have seen are dea...

Re: Augsburg dish.
The freistempel was used in 1809/10 for objects exempted to be delivered to the redempion offices. It is well documented Neresheimer pseudo mark; always with letter N to the let. Another example of Neresheimer set of marks bellow;``freistempel`` far left (letter N again !),with partially struck pse...
