Looking at the head of Minerwa it seems to be created after May 1838.

Yes, you are right. Probably, there is a pentagram sign before S. The first S has completely another "look&feel" than other letters in this inscription ? The other issue is that for me the are two marks stampted on the bowl one on the other. Unfortunately I do not have the original gla...

I looked through the Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks at http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html
and I finded marks for Schleissner which do not fit to what I see on my bowl.
It is quite interesting.
