Hi all. Have another question, I have a spoon with 800 PK stamped on the handle. is it possible to tell if it is Dutch or German, is it Silver or plated, I think its Dutch as it came with previous Dutch items, any assistance would be gratefully received. Thanks for the info, its amazing what you can deduce from a few marks.
I assume this spoon was made in Holland, and sent Java for resale and now 100+ years is domicile in Australia, its certainly travelled.

I shall now go back and investigate Dutch silver as you now pointed me in the correct direction. I should have known as other spoons in the box are Dutch but this just looks British, ...
