Thanks for the info! Is there anyway to find the maker of the piece or the age? I have searched by the initals, description of the star/square combo and have cannot find anything.

I have searced for the marks on this piece and have been unsuccessful. I have not been able to even find this dish. Does anyone know anything about the marks? I'm not even sure if it's silverplate.
