Thanks for the information. That's rather unfortunate. Without being able to establish the maker, country of origin, or age, I now have a very beautiful but low value set of silverplated flatware.

I've picked up this set of 6 Apostle forks and 6 Apostle spoons. They surely can't be true European Apostle flatware. They're stamped "90" so I'm assuming they're coin silver, so American made? If anyone can help me identify the maker, time period, and confirm the silver content, it would ...
