Help needed for Taxco necklace. RD and 980?

I recently bougth this necklace. It is hallmarked with RD Taxco and 980. I presume the 980 is for the silver content, making it near pure silver. But can anybody tell me who marked their jewellery with RD? Thanks Andy http://sv1.letmehost.com/sv1/24/taxco.jpg http://sv1.letmehost.com/sv1/24/taxco2.j...

It was made in Poland, unfortunately I can´t give you a date as the letter to the left of the womans head is not legible.

The 835/000 (835 parts silver) pertains to the silver content. For example, sterling silver is 925/000. Which means the bar pin is made of silver and probably from Europe.

Enameled cigarette case, maker ID needed please.

I recently purchased this cigarette case, but I do not know who made it, I think it could be either from Germany or Austria, but the usual marks are missing. Does anybody know who might have made it? Thanks in advance Andy http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/dannyhamnett/horses5.jpg http://i89.ph...

Help needed with a gold bangle please.

I recently purchased this gold bangle, it has tested to 18k gold and has two identical marks. I hope they are visible. Thanks Andy http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/dannyhamnett/bandseil3.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/dannyhamnett/bandseil.jpg .

My guess is that the stone looks like Chrysoprase. The second part of the bottom word does appear to be Mexico. 0925 would be Sterling silver. Sorry I can´t help with the crown mark.

Who made this pendant?

Does anybody have an idea who might have made this pendant, I have had it a long time. I only know that it is silver, there is only one indistinguishable mark on the bail, for silver content, I think 800, but nothing else. There is a chrysoprase in the centre, with an amber cabouchon set in the midd...

Hi all. I hope this is the correct category, this looks like a steers head under the 925. Does anybody recognise this mark? http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/dannyhamnett/emblue2.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k211/dannyhamnett/emblue.jpg Thanks Andy

Hi Matthew It was made in Germany by a maker by the name of Toni Rijk, she is/was German/Baltic working in Ludwigsburg. It seems that it is slightly earlier than the 70´s, I would say the mid century. Here is a picture from a book containing that type of jewellery, with the same mark. http://i89.phot...
