Has anybody heard of H.B. Marsh? I did some research about a year ago and found a listing for silversmith in Indianapolis, Indiana about 1825. I didn't save the web page and forgot any details of my research other than it was some type of city registry or census of local business there. (admin edit)...

Thanks, so much. I suspected it was political; but know little about politics here in the US let alone the UK. I did a search and there is one listed on a popular worldwide auction site with a Great Britain division for a pretty good chunk of change. I mess around with jewelry and tableware a little...

I was wondering if anybody could help me identify this item. I'm fairly sure it dates 1901; but the big mystery to me is was it worn to signify support or membership of a person or group. I don't see how this gentleman's face could have been considered a fashion statement. and notice the overlaid ax...
