My parents owned many pieces with this mark. They lived in the NYC metro area all their lives- from the 1930's onward. Much of it in Brooklyn. Might this offer a hint? I'm at a loss that nobody has any leads yet. TIA.

Somebody must be able to recognize this hallmark- OR the inscribed name- F-E-R- something?

I inherited this beautiful sterling ring from my Grandmother and wanted as much information as I can find about it.
