I wonder if anyone can identify this, I think it may be from a school, The Latin Motto is very common and I have been unable to track down this actual shield.

Hello all. Can anyone assist here withthis antique patch box which I would guesstimate will be late 18th century. Only marked with a makers mark to the inside base, may be IIR but please do not take that as a definate. As ever any help is always appreciated. It is in the Irish section here but again...
