The Greek signatures are a bit like the Mexican ones. City ID, in this case Omega Delta is Athens, and the silversmith's ID number, 19, which is unfortunately harder to find than even the Mexican numbers.
I'm trying to figure out what these are, or what they could be used for, possibly where they're from. Two hard black wood carved fish, I assume ebony, with sterling hooked spirals coming out of their mouths, hallmarked 925 on the inside of the spirals. No other marks that I can see. They're both 3.2...
I found these sterling clip-on jade earrings with a mark I can't identify, and I've been looking. It looks like it's a hammer, or a mallet, or a battle axe in a diamond cartouche. I'm assuming that it's American; the only hallmark is the 925, which could be a few other countries, but I can't find th...
It's a very nice bracelet; locking clasped bracelet with a row of lapis, but I can't identify the markings. What I assumed originally was a 925, under magnification says, I think, "STS," and underneath that, it looks like "Karls (Kaits? Kaifs? Kads?)." It's an elaborate bracelet,...
This looks like a bracelet, it's the size of a bangle, but it's very rigid. I don't know what this is, but the stamps on it are weird. https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/PC040196.JPG The back of it is blank. The front of it is covered with stamps, most of them are identical Arabic (I apologize...
I've seen sterling picture frames with 900, 925, or 950, inconspicuously stamped into the silver, without a maker's mark or anything else, due to the small amount of space. https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/951A.jpg On this one though, the stamping is "951." If I didn't see the phot...
I'm going to feel foolish if I'm misreading this...but...I have this Iranian filigree piece. https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/iran.jpg expanding a bit, we have https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/iran2.jpg This is the only marking on the tray that I can see. Now, to be clear, I don't sp...
Gorham spoon, an Etruscan teaspoon with an S and a T in rhombuses, 16.2 grams. today. (I hope this is what you're looking for) I notice that this one's on the other side, though.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/P1011006.JPG https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/P1011008.JPG https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/PIC027.jpg https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/PIC033.jpg https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayimmalachim/PIC028.jpg OK, so it's a C C marking in a rect...
I have this really cool necklace, it's hallmarked that it's hand-made sterling, but I don't recognize the signature, I wondered if anyone else knows it. It looks a bit like Chato Castillo's, but it has an extra "limb" on the right. It actually may not be Mexican, but it's in Spanish and se...
There was a previous post who asked about a small spoon that had "burton" and "a1" on them. So does this large tablespoon, but it has a lot more markings, and I was wondering if any of them indicate a maker, a date, a silver content, or a location. https://s3.amazonaws.com/pamayi...
I guess the question is simply "Is there a British silverplate marking that looks almost exactly like their own sterling marks?" I have these four knives. They are quite clearly magnetic, both the blades and the handles. The markings on them (I apologize for the photos, I used a second cam...
So I recently got these nut dishes, they're the typical average size, small...but they all have this marking that looks as though it either says A1000, or they say A.900c or it could be that they're not hallmarks at all, which is why I'm putting it here, because some of them are dirty, and look like...
Long time user of the site, first time poster. This is a cup, it has a bird design on the top, it's about 5 inches tall. I'm not sure what the markings on the bottom mean, if they're hallmarks or they're maker's marks. One kind of looks like a fist, or a five with an extra bump, and the other one se...
