Many thanks for the reply Buckler. However, I'm not convinced about the colonial theory. The incuse duty mark looks right to me, apart from there is no cartouche. I have seen worn George III leopard's (leopart's) head marks that look very similar to this one. But perhaps the most important clue is t...

Help identifying maker's mark CIA 1784

Hi everyone, I have an 18th century salt or condiment pot with a blue glass liner. It has marks for London 1784 but I cannot find the maker's mark anywhere.
