No luck on the CM though, huh? Well at least I know I'm not crazy for not being able to find it!

Sterling S/P Shaker marked M inside C & possible date C?

I have searched and searched and my eyes are going to be damaged soon! I have a sterling silver salt or pepper shaker with 3 slipper feet. It has what appears to be a makers mark of initials...the letter M inside the letter C. Then there is what appears to be a date stamp...a lion's head perhaps (?)...
