Snuff spoon/salt spoon-possibly silverplate-Italy?

I was told that this was a snuff spoon, but found another similar spoon online claiming it to be a salt spoon. This spoon terminates in a rearing horse, while the other had a lion and shield instead, otherwise they appeared identical. I thought this spoon was pewter, but the online reference said it...

Help with a Maker's Mark

This website is amazing! I think I have determined that my silver spoon is... Sterling, from London, and was made between 1820-1825. The problem though, is that the Maker's Mark is squished and I can't make it out. I was hoping someone here could help me decipher it. http://i71.photobucket.com/album...
