Although the marks are similar to the Continental Sheffield Co. the tureen has an earlier feel (construction, weight) than the 1920s.

The piece you own is a silver plated piece. The mark “Topázio casquinha” means it’s a silver plated piece from Topázio. The mark “T” with crown certifies that the decanter is in fact made by Topázio. The mark ” H “ means the date when it was produced...which I would I would believe to be late 50s...

Hi,
Does anybody know the country of origin of this shellfish fork? see mark below...I assume it's .750 silver....can somebody identify the maker's mark?

Tom, Thanks...it makes sense, the fancy filigree border does look Dutch, quite flexible though...made me think it was silver.
