Can anyone help identify this mark? I don't know whether this item is sterling or plated. I believe it is Art Nouveau/ Deco era. The only other marks on it are "Paris, France" on the back. I haven't seen any French hallmarks that look like this. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3594/34819905...
Can anyone confirm that this plate is Dutch? West & Son is Irish but the hallmarks look dutch to me...I know the marks are not that clear - sorry. I think this is silver plated but I'm not certain. Any information about any of these marks would be greatly appreciated. http://farm4.static.flickr....
These marks look latvian to me but instead of a woman's head beside the 875 there is the number 3 and a star with a sickle and a hammer in it. The other mark is "T30". Can anyone confirm that this is latvian and tell me what the "T30" means? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3437/33...
I looked at the Scottish marks after I read your post and I still didn't see it. I don't think I ever would have identified this one without your help.
I cannot seem to find these marks for this brooch. The design looks Scottish to me, but the marks don't resemble Scottish marks. I believe that this is most likely a later piece (probably late 20th century). Does anyone know anything about the marks? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3483/3319793900_c0...
Does anyone have a guess as to where this ink stand was made or the approximate age. I have searched everywhere for makers marks and I haven't found any. I believe that it is sterling but I have not had it tested. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3014/3093444690_55594a86dd.jpg http://farm4.static.flic...
I'm not certain that this is American and the pictures of the mark did not come out too great. The mark looks like a C with a wavy line and I was wondering if this is the makers mark. Does anyone know the maker or age of this? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3274/3093444286_fe98b91bcb.jpg http://farm...
Here is the other mark I found on the salt shaker. It is a sword that looks to be the mark used between 1906-1953. It's a little hard to see but it is right under her neck.... .
I'm not even sure if this is American. I didn't see any makers mark that looked like this ( I saw a mark H&H). Does anyone know anything about this maker or approximate age of this piece? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3159/3046135375_7d9ac0b456.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3206/3046135419...
How does one find out the date on these Hanau items? I'm pretty sure that this is made by Schleissner Sohne, but I don't know how to date it. Does anyone know? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3230/3044432861_1ef8c7109f.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3247/3045269306_dd03c92e59.jpg http://farm4.sta...
I cannot identify the first two marks on this salt. The only thing I see is a sword. Any information about maker, date, or even to confirm it is Dutch would be greatly appreciated. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3244/3041077215_0c917dc00d_m.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3032/3041077367_00eb03bf...
Does anyone have an idea what country this came from and how old it might be? The only marks I have been able to find on it are "E" and "750" http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3179/3039663164_04c04bca6f.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3235/3038826177_fcdd351c44.jpg
I assume that this spoon is Dutch....There are 3 marks on the piece. One is a square with a H. One looks like "MC" or "MG" and the other is "N:" I have no clue who the maker is but I believe it was made in 1905. .
