Locket about 1 1/2" round with an inside bowl about 1/4" deep. Mirror on the inside lid. Marked on edge of inside lid - Makers Mark - Sterling and 705. Mark is worn, but best description would be an & with a 3 attached.

Stumping Everyone
The marks on the bottom of the piece do not photograph at all. They are simple marks - pair of crossed keys and a unicorn head - not next to one another (separate) and not framed in any shape. Just that - simple.

So far, this item has stumped not only this forum, but another as well. Maybe this will help - I have since discovered that the engraving on the lid is more than likely a coat of arms or family crest.

Hope someome can help first tell me what this might be used for, heard maybe an asparagus server? Also not shown are two marks on the bottom of the piece - one is a unicorn head and the other is a pair of crossed keys.
