Thanks - Niello is probably right - just couldn't get that word out of my head!

I know I have seen this mark somewhere but there is no name to search by. I have gone thru visual resources and can't find it. Also, what do you call this type of treatment- it's not damascene I don't think... I think the stamp is Plata 925, Sterling Guad Jal Mex (Location?)

I have a well made, heavy sterling modernist pendant marked with what looks to me like to arrow tips facing each other. Does anyone know who this belongs to?
