Thanks very much ....on the other side is a slightly damaged mirror. Unfortunately I don't have the pendant's chain. Would this be a particularly rare item do you think?

Thanks for the links ...the HM stands for H. Matthews but I am not sure about the date ...what date do you think it may be?
