Re: Help with small cup

Hi Kalo, The mastermark is not clear to me. The bucket was made in Germany after 1888 (moon, crown, 800) and there is in importmark from Austria-Hungaria used betwee 1891 and 1901. See Tardy. Regards, Zilverik Thanks so much Zilverik.. I see the import mark listed here now... http://www.925-1000.co...

Re: Carved Tortoise Shell Box

Now I'm thinking this is a Dutch mark for small objects. 1814 -1905 Looks like the small sword mark.

Re: Mark on Gold Cane Handle

Thank you very much. I saw on a search of Simons Brothers that the trefoil above the maker mark is likely gold-filled. Thanks! :)

Mark on Gold Cane Handle

Hi.. Can anyone help me with this mark? It has the trefoil in a circle and small? s? in a shield. Also the 189. Seems like it could be solid gold, but I'm not sure about these marks. Thanks!

(even if they don't look like it in the photos.. at the right angle they are the same). Almost looks...

Thank you for replying.. I should check the piece again for other marks. Can't remember if the photo is from the top or bottom. Maybe there are more marks on the other part. I see your point about the assay mark. The page you referred indicates it should be there together with the year mark. R:)
