tiny tray mystery mark

I found a reference to Harrison Fisher on http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_F.html Could it be that my tiny tray mark is "HF" (in a rectangle) followed by a star?

Can't recognize makers mark.

Dear Fellow Enthusiasts, I admit defeat. I cannot figure out what the shape that follows the initials is supposed to be or to whom this mark belongs. Can anyone help? :? M&R mark on English silverplate goblet

Here is an image I found on an auction site. It is attributed to Ackroyd Rhodes. The design of the base and cup of the trophy look very similar (to me) to those of the goblet. what do you think? http://thumb6.webshots.net/t/62/562/5/43/24/2328543240041378806BWREiN_th.jpg http://thumb6.webshots.net/t...

M&R mark on English silverplate goblet

Dear Pat,

Thank you so much for your very prompt reply! I have wondered if the first part of that mark might not be an A. Do you have any idea what that guitar-looking (trefoil?) thing hanging down in the middle might be?

M&R mark on English silverplate goblet

I've done my homework, I swear! Books and websites and no clues. Has anyone identified this mark? If so, would you please let me know who, when, where, etc? Many, many thanks!! http://aycu32.webshots.com/image/46591/2004153337731631407_th.jpg http://aycu33.webshots.com/image/46072/200415431224790989...
