I have an incomplete set of spoons. The origin is unknown but the 800 in a rectangle might suggest made in Germany. I could not match the maker's mark - I hope you can help me here. https://i.postimg.cc/2S15ctK7/01.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/CKDxYqYZ/02.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/YCTCJ3cK/03.jpg
Thank you! I have found several examples of Indian silverware and my sugar bowl might be from the Bhuj region ca 1870. Here is one of the examples similar to mine: https://www.sellingantiques.co.uk/photosnew/dealer_carlyonsilver/dealer_carlyonsilver_highres_1389984492469-1161568008.jpg
Thank you for your reply. I have seen now more examples of these mirrors. These are made as a part of the Bride's trousseau collected by the Bride for her Wedding Day. A common "gift" in Turkey.
I have a wall mirror with some interesting design on the back. Here are the pictures of it including the mark - probably AVCI. I suspect it might be Turkey? Please advise.
