GORHAM SILVER FLATWARE ~ SAME PATTERN DIFFERENT MARKINGS

I have a large set of Gorham flatware, a very old discontinued pattern. It dates at least 1880's and had been added to over the years. Most of the pcs are marked sterling and Caldwell jewelers mark, but some are marked only Gorham w/an anchor (i believe) stamp. Are these pcs silver plate? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the pieces with just an anchor mark are silverplated.
