6 July 1779 John son of John Stewart of Hoxton in the County of Middlesex silversmith apprenticed to Ralph Harwell of London House Yard Saint Paul's Church Yard London cutler (I don't know if this location description makes sense, but that is the way it is written).

A 'J. Stewart' recorded as a Silversmith and Jeweller of 9, Chiswell Street, Finsbury Square, is perhaps (long shot) to be identified with the above.
