27 September 1774 James Freshfield admitted into the freedom of the city in the company of clockmakers by redemption paying forty-six shillings and eight pence. Watchmaker noted toward the bottom of the paper.

2 February 1801 James William son of James Freshfield admitted a free clockmaker.

17 June 1745 Thomas Kender Saint Martins in the Field shaggereen (sic) case maker paid apprentice indenture duty for James son of John Freshfield.

20 April 1761 James Freshfield of Saint Giles Middlesex Watch Case Maker paid apprentice indenture duty for James Alder.
