He married Elizabeth Brown in 1808 at St Mary, Islington; they were both from that parish.
Three of their children were christened at St Giles, Cripplegate from 1809-12 one of whom was Frederick (Grimwade p.335) born 1811. Their father was recorded as a watch maker.
A mark was entered in 1832 at Goldsmiths’ Hall as a pendant maker from 16 St John’s Lane, Clerkenwell but appears at 19 St John’s Lane in the Electoral Register for the same year.
He was listed as a watch maker aged 50 years living at St John Street Road in the UK Census for 1841 and as a watch case springer at the same address in the 1845 Post Office directory.
No further information has been traced.
