Christopher the son of Christopher Potticary, watch case maker, was buried at St Giles, Cripplegate in 1767.
Christopher senior’s son Nathaniel (Grimwade p.314) was his apprentice as a watch case maker from 1768.
Christopher senior was assessed to Land Tax on property in Silver Street, Bridgewater Square until 1783 and on property in Princes Street, Bridgewater Square from 1784-1787. His son Nathaniel was recorded at the latter address in 1784 and was assessed to Land Tax there from 1788.
There are burial records of a Christopher Potticary at Bunhill Fields in 1794 and 1802 neither of which provide sufficient detail to identify which was the watch case maker.
