He was assessed to Land Tax on property in Foster Lane from 1761-79. The premises, close to Goldsmiths Hall, had previously been occupied by his old master Samuel Wood (Grimwade p.709).
He was listed in the 1796 London Poll Book as a goldsmith at St Paul’s Churchyard.
The proximity of this business address to St Faith under St Paul’s and the recorded age at death of 61 years suggests the burial of Robert Piercy registered there in 1797 is relevant.
