He married Mary Rumsey at St Bartholomew the Great in 1719; both were from St Bride’s Fleet Street parish.
The 1722 London Poll Book listed him in the Founders Company.
Between 1720 and 1725 he entered three marks at Goldsmiths Hall as a small worker from Hosier Lane.
Robert Lloyd, the son of Thomas Lloyd of the Paint Stainers Company, signed indentures in 1729 to be his apprentice.
In 1736 he paid Duty for the apprentice indentures of James Horrox.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in Osier (Hosier) Lane until 1740 and in nearby Cow Lane in 1741. A new tenant was listed for the property in 1743.
