Samuel Margas senior
His 1727 Will was written in French; his address was in St Martin in the Fields and the Will was granted Probate in London in the same year. It appears to mention legacies to Charles Hatfield, Goldsmith (Grimwade p.540), Samuel’s wife Madeleine and his daughter Anne but not his sons Jacob or Samuel.

Aged 24 years he signed a bond in 1716 as a goldsmith from St Martin in the Fields to marry Judeth Delane at St Paul’s Cathedral.
He was listed in the 1727 Poll Book at King Street, Covent Garden
