James Morley Evans, the son of James and Jane Evans of Crown Court East, was christened at St Botolph, Aldersgate in 1740.
He was still registered at Greek Street in the 1780 Poll Book from where he had entered his first mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1761. His trade was entered as a goldworker.
He was assessed to Land Tax on property in West Street, St Giles in the Fields from 1784-1795 after which no records of him have been traced.
