Flea market find

Hi All,
I picked up two spoons at the flea market last week. I can not find anything on them . They are 1800-1810 style serving spoons , the only mark on then is : cjevee silver warranted . Ther is no spaces in the lettering .
Any idea`s who made these ?

That's probably Cuevee silver warranted. This was a trademark of the Quaker Valley Mfg. Co. of Chicago Illinois. They used it on silver plated items c. 1900.

Thank you for your fast reply and information ! I still wonder about the stamped letters , they are very clearly marked "cjevee" . You think Quaker used different letters on their stamps ?

I've only seen a few of their pieces and each was marked Cuevee silver warranted.

Hi,
My wife solved the marking`s . The stamp must of been off center, the " U" looks like a "J" !

So, what exactly does Silver warranted mean?
Is it a degree of Silver plating like 40gr or what.
Also if Quaker Valley Mfg made this c 1900, do we know when they stopped making Cuevee silver warranted? I have photos of this mark to add. Should they go on this thread or should I add a new thread that isn't marked photo-shy?
