He married Elizabeth Remy at St Pancras Old Church in 1773 and two of their daughters were christened there in 1774 and 1775.
His wife Elizabeth died in 1782 and was buried at the same church.
He married spinster Catherine Johnston at St Leonard, Shoreditch in 1784; their daughter was christened at St Anne, Soho in 1787.
He is listed in the 1780 London Poll Book at St Ann’s Court and as a silversmith in Grafton Street in 1784 and 1790 from where he continued to be assessed to Land Tax until 1808.
