His first mark was entered at Goldsmiths Hall in 1770 as a smallworker from 19 Albion Buildings.
The Parliamentary Report of 1773 into the manner in which the English Assay Offices conducted business shows between 23rd May 1771 and 29th May 1772 23lbs of his plate failed to meet the standard.
Further marks were registered from 48 Lombard Street and 5 Naked Boy Court, Ludgate Hill in 1782.
He paid Land Tax on property at Naked Boy Court from 1779-85.
