He was christened the son of John and Susannah Harle at St James, Clerkenwell in 1787.
He married Sarah Dayns at St James, Clerkenwell in 1822; she was from St Mary, Islington parish.
He entered a maker’s mark at Goldsmiths Hall in 1822 as a case maker from 68 Wynatt Street.
The 1841-1861 UK Census records show him continuing at Wynatt Street as a watch maker.
His burial in 1868 aged 81 years was recorded at St James church; his last address was as previously noted.
