He was christened in 1688 in Tilsworth, Bedfordhire.
There is a christening record in July 1712 at St Anne and St Agnes for Ruth, daughter of Isaac and Ruth Malyn, which was presumably when they were living in Gutter Lane.
There is another christening record in February 1713 at St Saviour, Southwark for Valentine, daughter of Isaac Malyn, goldsmith and Ruth, which shows the family had moved to Southwark much earlier than the insurance policy referred to on page 758 of Grimwade’s book would indicate.
The burial of Isaac son of Isaac Malyn, goldsmith, was recorded in May 1718 at St Saviour, Southwark.
No death record has been found for Isaac senior.
