He was christened at St Luke Finsbury in 1814.
His father is recorded as Randall Chatterton confirming Grimwade’s speculation that he was the son of the silversmith of that name (Grimwade p.462-3).
The 1841 UK census recorded him living with his father at Peters Court, Long Acre where he was also a silversmith. His mother Easter was not resident with them.
No later record has been found of him.
