There is a record of George Dennis Charie's birth on 23 October 1789 at St James, Clerkenwell.

George Charie jeweller who was born in Clerkenwell, Middlesex and was the correct age is listed in the 1841, '51 and '61
census's at Long Lane, Bermondsey.

George Charie's death is recorded in the third quarter of 1861 in the Bermondsey District.

Some better information on Dennis Charie that goes along with Mike's original posting:

The marriage of Anne Eleanor Charie is recorded at St Andrew, Holborn London in 1843. Her fathers name was Dennis Lewis Charie. His occupation was jeweller and his address was 25 Bartlett's Buildings.

I have no idea where George Dennis Charie might fit in all of this.

Dennis CHARIE Born 1768 Death unknown was a partner to the famous John Lias from 1792 to 1794

George Dennis CHARIE 1789 - 1861 was Dennis CHARIE's nephew.

The death referred to in 1849 was Dennis Lewis CHARIE 1795 - 1849 - he was Dennis CHARIE's son. This is the Dennis Lewis father of the Anne Eleanor CHARIE
