Berndorf Pot: Alpaca or Silver Plate?

Hi

I have a very lovely Berndorf coffee pot but I'm not sure how to tell if it is silver plate or alpaca. It has the bear in a circle mark with 'Art Krupp' above and 'Berndorf' below as shown in the image. I would very much appreciate any education and advice anyone could give me, I am a total beginner!
