10 August 1759 Public Advertiser; Issue 7725 reports ;
" Yesterday was married at St Anne's Aldersgate, Mr John Hague , Buckle maker of Noble Street to Mrs Woolley of Ratcliff Highway" .
He would have been around 55 at the time, but as his bride was a widow it is possible to be him, or perhaps a son of the same name. We could have two men in this biography.
