PULLIN, David (Grimwade p.292)

Post by MCB »

Indentures were signed in 1738 by David, son of David Pullin, coachman of St Bride’s, to be the apprentice of Richard Paine, Citizen and Clockmaker.
Christenings of four of the children of David and Mary Pullin are recorded in 1749-53 at St Stephen, Coleman Street without further detail.
Indentures were signed in 1752 by William Jones (Grimwade p.353), in 1760 by Thomas Carpenter (Grimwade p.349), in 1760 by his own son David and in 1765 by William Warham to be his apprentices.
He entered maker’s marks at Goldsmiths Hall as a case maker from Coleman Street in 1758 and from 9 Islington Road in 1776.
The burial in 1778 of David Pullin aged 55 years, late of Shoreditch, was recorded at St Giles, Cripplegate.
