Appears in directories as an Optician, Mathematical Instrument Maker, and Philosophical Instrument Maker, located at 2, Hackney Road during the period 1835-1845, and 39, Hoxton Square, 1849-1851. Both addresses noted by Arthur Grimwade.

His business was succeeded by Elizabeth Edwards.
