This is a link to an old British Pathe short film of the workshops of the Amsterdam silversmiths 'Helweg & Zoon' that was made in 1965.
You will need 'Adobe Flash 10' to view this short film, no sound I'm afraid.

Helweg & Zoon Workshops--1965
I was intrigued as to the identity of the "two elderly men", as stated in the film description, and managed to find a photograph of these wonderful craftsmen.
They are in fact the Helweg brothers, the last generation of silversmiths of this great dynasty.
In the foreground is Hendrik Roelof Carel Helweg jnr. (born 1887, died 1972) and behind him is his brother Carl Hendrik Helwig (born 1893, died ?. This photo was taken in 1953.
I believe both the brothers retired when this very long established business closed its doors for the last time in 1965.

The device struck of the finial of the spoon that was shown being produced in the film was originally prepared by the brothers uncle, the engraver, Carl Hendrik Helweg in 1883.
Carl Hendrik Helweg was born on the 4th May 1846 and died on the 11th August 1903. The above photo was taken in 1895.
