A. Bächer was the owner of the Silber Prägewaaren Fabrik, Silver Embossing Goods Factory, the Prague and Viennese silverware and jewelry firm. The founder was the goldsmith Abraham Bernhard Bächer. The Viennese workshop was established between 1830 and 32,in Prague 1835.

In 1881(or 1883), the property rights of BÄCHER A. B. transferred to Hermann Südfeld, who led it with his brother-in-law Max Monasch.

According to Dr. Julia Blaha (Dortotheum, Wien) he was still active in 1914.Besides, there is Jugendstil (c. 1900) silver made by his firm.
I have no references of him after The Great War.
