Need help figuring out a stamp mark

Post by muralman »

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but I thought you fine people might have the answer that I need. I have and older silver box that is 4x3 inches that has a marking inside that I've been unable to trace, it says "sterling 0120" on the inside of the lid. I have searched with no luck in uncovering anything about the "0120". Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I`m afraid it`s impossible to identify the maker, even the country of origin is a mystery. The number is factory serial or product number.
Cheers
